Scottish Government Update

Following the Scottish Government update on 18th June that we are entering into Phase 2 of Lockdown there has been a change to the guidance on the use of Face Coverings.

From Monday 22nd June 2020 if you are using Public Transport you will be required to wear a Face Covering, unless exempt. This includes Taxi and Private Hire vehicles.

Exemptions to this guidance include:

  • Children under 5
  • If you have a health condition where a face covering would be inappropriate because it would cause difficulty, pain or severe distress or anxiety or because you cannot apply a covering and wear it in the proper manner safely and consistently.
  • Those with breathing difficulties
  • If you need to take medication

We kindly ask that our customers respect this guidance and thank you in advance for your co-operation.
